Earlier this year, during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, HP announced its new smartphone model: Elite x3, the first mobile phone fully running Windows Continuum.

Continuum allows the user to maintain their own environment in any screen they use: laptop, tablet, phone, monitor. When connected to another device, the phone runs the app according to the size of screen.

With this phone, HP want to target business people needing flexibility in the way they work. To accompany this launch, HP is organising a challenge for B2B Startups with apps.

All the challengers can benefit from two weeks of technical support provided by HP and Microsoft to optimize their app. These two weeks begin with a workshop to get your hands on the Elite X3 and explore the Continuum specificities.

Microsoft has developed several tools allowing iOS, web and Android publishers to make their app easily compatible with Continuum, meaning that this challenge is open to all kinds of app publisher.

HP is offering marketing and visibility to the best startups participating in this challenge. The phone will be in the hands of many professionals, providing a great opportunity and valuable exposure for startups including their apps on the device.
